Messiest pantry contest: cast your vote

Shelf Reliance, maker of the famous rotating shelf system, is holding a Messiest Pantry Contest. It began on 19 April with contestants submitting photos of their messy pantries or food storage rooms along with a description of why they deserved the makeover. The entries have been narrowed to five semi-finalists which are now competing in an online poll on Shelf Reliance’s blog to be one of the three winners.

First place, the grand price, will receive a Harvest 72″ Original Food Rotation System and a Harvest 72″ #10 Food Rotation System ($920 value). Second place will receive a Pantry 72″ Food Rotation System ($360 value). Third place will receive a Consolidator Pantry 6 Pack ($179 value).

Although it’s relatively new, the Shelf Reliance Blog looks like it has good potential to become a quality prepping resource for information, ideas, and giveaways. This is the second content that they have held this year, the first being a recipe contents with over $800 is cash prizes. Other topics that they have covered are kitchen safety, water storage, and automobile safety.

My mother, Cathryn S., entered the contest and has been selected as one of the finalists. I would like to invite all of our readers to take a few seconds, visit the blog, and cast a vote for her. I believe she should win the contest, but not just because she is my mother. Her food storage room has no shelves. All of her stores are pilled waist deep on the floor. You can’t even get into the room to retrieve items, let alone consider rotating stock. While the other contestants do have messy pantries, they at least have shelves. My mom needs these shelves and I believe deserves to win the most.

Thanks to our readers for the favor and thanks to Shelf Reliance for providing great products and supporting provident living!

  1. Please cast another vote if you’re willing. The rules are one vote per day per computer. It’s currently neck and neck so a vote today and tomorrow could make the difference. Thanks for your help!
