Fantastic, and so true! You'll see first hand what an ongoing challenge this is when your little one starts growing! Our kids have their own mini emergency kits and the clothes are always being rotated in them. We vacuum packed diapers to be able to fit more in the kit when they were babies. I go throught them at least twice a year and the kids get to be there for it at least one of those times. Keep in mind that it might be dad with the baby when the bug out is necessary--make sure you have a way to feed the little tyke!

Plus foods the kids like and will eat play a huge part in our long term storage plans as well as making sure their everyday diet uses the foods we store so they are not system shocked if that's all there is to eat.

I'm sure excited for you and your wife! Kids are a load of joy and work all rolled up in a cute little bundle with a diaper on it! ;)
